The short version: Huh does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no servers. Everything you type stays on your device.
What the app stores
Huh saves the following on your device so your budget is there when you reopen the app:
- Your monthly take-home pay and, if you entered it, your gross pay.
- The line items in each bucket and the amounts you assigned to them.
- Small preferences such as your appearance setting and which screen you were on.
This data is stored using the standard iOS app storage on your device. It may be included in your device backups if you have iCloud Backup or computer backups turned on. Those backups are managed by Apple and your device settings, not by Huh.
What the app does not do
- It does not send your budget or any other data to us or to anyone else. The app makes no network requests.
- It does not ask you to create an account or sign in.
- It does not use analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking libraries.
- It does not access your contacts, location, photos, bank accounts, or any other data on your device.
Deleting your data
Use Start over in the app’s settings to erase your budget, or delete the app from your device. Either removes everything Huh stored.

Children
Huh is not directed at children under 13 and, because it collects no data, it does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes
If Huh ever starts handling data differently, this page will be updated and the date above will change. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
